General

  • How much does a plumber cost in Barcelona?

A visit with diagnosis starts at €49 and an emergency call-out at €69. You get a fixed price before any work.

  • Do you speak English?

Yes, call or WhatsApp in English.

  • How fast can you come?

In an emergency in Barcelona city, usually 15 to 20 minutes. We confirm the time on the phone.

  • How do I pay?

When the job is done, by card, Bizum or cash, always with an invoice.

Emergency plumber

  • Do you come out at night?

Yes. There's a plumber on call every night, weekends and public holidays included.

  • Where is my stopcock?

Usually under the kitchen sink, behind the bathroom door, in the utility area or next to the meter on the landing.

  • Will my home insurance cover it?

Many policies cover water damage. We give you an itemised invoice with the cause, which is what insurers ask for.

Blocked drains

  • Do you have to break anything?

Almost never. We work through the drain itself, the access point or the gully.

  • Who pays if it's the building stack?

The stack is shared, so usually the community of owners. We confirm it with the camera.

  • Do you use chemicals?

No. Strong chemicals damage seals and old pipes. We use machines and water pressure.

Water leaks

  • How do you find a leak without breaking walls?

Moisture meter, thermal camera, pressure tests and, when needed, tracer gas.

  • Does insurance pay for leak detection?

Some policies do. Keep the itemised invoice and report.

  • How long does a wall take to dry?

From a few days to several weeks, depending on thickness and ventilation.

Water heaters

  • Which size do I need?

50 litres for one or two people, 80 for a couple with a child, 100 or more for families.

  • Can you install one I bought?

Yes. Check it comes with all the parts before the day.

  • Do you fit gas heaters too?

Yes, natural gas or butane, with the right flue.

Boilers and heating

  • What pressure should my boiler show?

Between 1 and 1.5 bar with the heating cold.

  • How often should radiators be bled?

Once a year before winter, and whenever one is cold at the top.

  • Do you replace old cast iron radiators?

Yes, with aluminium or steel, reusing the connections where possible.

Pipe replacement

  • Will we be without water all day?

No. We work by sections and turn the water back on at the end of each day.

  • Who pays for the riser to the meter?

If it runs through common areas, usually the community of owners.

  • Which pipe do you use?

Multilayer in most homes: it doesn't rust and holds less limescale.

Taps and toilets

  • Do you fix concealed cisterns?

Yes, for the usual brands. Rare models need the exact part, which we quote first.

  • Can you fit taps I bought?

Yes. Send us a photo first so we bring the right connectors.

  • How long does a cistern repair take?

    Usually under an hour.

Residential buildings

  • Do you offer regular maintenance?

Yes, checks of pumps, gullies and stacks as often as the community decides.

  • Do you work with any property manager?

Yes. We send quotes, reports and invoices directly.

  • Who pays if the blockage is between my flat and the stack?

The part only your flat uses is private. The camera shows where it is.
